Here are a list of equipment items and their various effects when used in battle. All items that cast spells appear to use the lowest level version. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but here are the effects of some of the more notable ones:


Life Corsage: Heals 300 HP for entire party
Power Wrist: Casts AttackUp on the user
Power Shield: Casts DefUp on the user

Showy Tiara: Casts Barrier
Red Ribbon: Casts Suzowall
Sage Mask: Casts Wall
Sage Ring: Casts Spela
Warrior Ring: Casts AttackUp on the user
Speed Ring: Casts SpeedUp on the user
Bikini: Casts Wall
Flame Ring: Casts Suzun
Light Ring: Casts Kekun
Wind Ring: Casts Lelun
Mage Ring: Casts Gubo
Red Hot Cane: Casts Suzan
Thunder Cane: Casts Kekan
Tempest Cane: Casts Lelan

Exorcism Staff: Kills spirits and Combiners at the Mountain of Learning (enemies killed this way don't give any EXP, gold or items)
 Sexy Dress: Casts Martyr (heals the party and kills the user)
Lovely Boots: Casts SpeedUp
Spirit Hat: Casts Momrick (freezes one target)
Troubled Armor: Party flees
Fist of Anger: Attacks enemy group 1-3 times
Fist of Fury: Attacks enemy group 3-5 times
Fist of Rage: Randomly attacks all enemies 8-10 times
Thunder Wave: Randomly attacks all enemies multiple times
Thunder Saber: Damages nearby enemies with a weak Kekun
Great Mallet: Attacks all enemies
Zaygos Killer: Attacks 1-3 times
Phantom Lance: Attacks whole group of enemies, then attacks a single enemy within the group once more
Huge Stone: Does about 1/2 current HP damage to one enemy, may miss
Scissorhands: Does about 7/8 current HP damage to one enemy
Budding Sword: Does random damage (usually about 1/4-1/2, rarely 2-3x)
Assassin: Slight chance of doing 4x damage
Energy Suit: Heals 4000 HP for the user, like a Mega Bottle
Cosmic Helmet: Heals 2000 HP for the user, like a High Bottle
Death Bringer: Absorbs 1/4 of damage dealt as HP (absorbed damage cannot exceed enemy's current HP)
Gomutai Blade: Attacks enemy group 3-5 times, absorbs all damage dealt as HP (absorbed damage cannot exceed enemy's current HP)
Gomutai Helmet: Heals 4000 HP for the user, like a Mega Bottle
Gomutai Shield: Casts Grava
Gomutai Boots: Casts Slow
Gomutai Armor: Increases user's Max HP by 1.5x, like a Combat Bottle

Most enemies rarely drop certain items when defeated. This list contains some of them. This list may not be entirely correct, because many enemies tend to come in combinations, and sometimes it's difficult to guess which enemy drops which item. But regardless, here's the (partial) list of item drops:
