Lennus II: Apostles of the Seals Boss Information

Lennus II Bosses (note: all HP figures are estimates, and I am most likely wrong on several of them. Also, there are a few early bosses whose weaknesses, EXP and Gold I forgot to fill out when I fought them)

10/8/19 EDIT: Might play through this game again sometime in the near future. If I do, I'll dig through the game code and add the bosses' stats in full. Then, I might make another post with every enemy's full stats.

Tainted Clutch
HP: 500-600
EXP: 6
Gold: 30
Notes: Attacks one character for 30-50 damage. Often crawls back into its eggshell, wasting its turn... Until you reach level 8, in which case it starts spamming Lelun and hitting all characters for around 100 damage. Beating the boss may also trigger Lejun spam from future Tainted Clutch encounters as well, though I'm not entirely sure on this.

Doughren
HP: 2600-2700
Weakness: Lelan
EXP: 30
Gold: 250
Notes: Can attack for 60-80 damage to one, Often casts Lejun on all characters for 100-120 damage, will eat monster eggs to heal 300 HP when low on HP. As long as you're at least level 5, you should beat him without much difficulty.

Kai/Zuzanut
Kai HP: 1000
Zuzanut HP: 3000
Weakness: Lelan
EXP: ?
Gold: ?
Notes: Kai: can attack for about 80-100 damage to one, transforms into Zuzanut after losing about 1,000 HP. Zuzanut: uses fire breath for 120-180 damage, does laser attack to do 150 damage to all.

Forga
HP: 5000-6000
Weakness: Suzan/Lelan
EXP: 160
Gold: 300
Notes: Can attack for 100 damage to one, can cast Lelun for 150 damage to all, transforms into a monster after losing about 2500-3000 HP, summons a bunch of little reapers for about 100-150 damage to random party members, shoots a triangular beam of light for 150-180 damage, and unleashes an 8-hit combo, hitting random characters for about 100 damage a hit... He is easily the toughest boss in Andel, and you will probably get your first Game Over here. Be at least level 8 to survive.

Gold Spirit
HP: 3200-3400
Weakness: none
EXP: 64
Gold: 200
Notes: Can attack for about 150-180 damage to one, sometimes attacks random party members for 150-180 damage

Germ
HP: 1500-1700
Weakness:
EXP: ?
Gold: ?
Notes: has a chance of dropping a Purpbird Feather upon defeat. Purpbird Feathers permanently increase one character's speed by 3-7 points.

Virus
HP: 2200-2400
Weakness:
EXP:
Gold:

Mad Mudbron
HP: 6400
Weakness:
EXP: 80
Gold: 380
Notes: Attacks for 150-200 damage to one, does a double-punch for 300-400 damage to one, shoot a giant green laser for 160-180 damage to all

Efrem
HP: ~4500
Weakness:
EXP: 120
Gold: 400
Notes: Can cast Suzan for 130-160 damage, hurls balls of lightning for 150-200 damage, transform into a giant snake and bite you for 150-180 damage

Wildbox
HP: 2500-2700
Weakness
EXP: 350
Gold: 1000

Darul
HP: 8000
Weakness:
EXP: ?
Gold: ?
Notes: Hurls three fireballs, hitting three random characters for ~180 damage, casts Suzun for ~150 damage to all, breathes fire for ~180 damage to one

Terra Foy
HP: 8000
Weakness: Suzan
EXP: 680
Gold: 1000
Notes: Casts Suzun for ~250 damage to all, casts a 6-8 hit drain spell, draining 100 or so HP a hit from random characters,

Mongra
HP: ~11200
Weakness: Kekan
EXP: 1200
Gold: 800
Notes: Gets two actions per turn, three at half HP, and four at 25% HP, shoots a random elemental attack at one person for ~300 damage, fires a rocket at one person for ~350 damage

Gilray Zork
HP: 12000
Weakness: Kekan
EXP: 2000
Gold: 1200
Notes: Physically attacks one person for ~400, hurls 4 razor blades at random characters (including self), damaging them for about ~200 a hit. Take Myra with you when you fight this boss, otherwise you won't be able to hire her again later in the game.

Earth Spirit
HP: 12000
Weakness
EXP: 1600
Gold: 1150
Notes: Uses a breath attack for ~250-300 damage to either one character or random characters

Ganda
HP: ~13000
Weakness: Suzan
EXP: 2150
Gold: 1300
Notes: Casts Kekun on all characters for 300-400 damage, drains one character for 400-500 HP,

Sewer Master
HP: 18000
Weakness: Kekan
EXP: 2800
Gold: 1450
Notes: Casts Lelan/Kekan on one person for 400-700 damage, shoots a missile at one person for ~650 damage, drains one character for ~600 HP,

Jubal
HP: 12000-14000
Weakness
EXP: 1200
Gold: 0
Notes: Attacks one character for 200-400 damage, rarely attacks the entire party for 200-400 damage. Only thing to note is how depressing this boss fight, and everything leading up to it and everything that follows immediately thereafter, is.  Notice how he weeps every time he takes damage or attacks someone. Heartbreaking... By the way, this boss fight is optional, but beating him rewards you with a sad scene and a Life Corsage, a fairly useful equippable item which heals the entire party for 300 HP when used, and can be used infinite times.

Apostle
HP: 10000
Weakness: Lelan
EXP: 250
Gold: 0
Notes: Casts Lelun/Suzun/Kekun for 300-400 damage to all

Black Cross
HP: 3500-4000
Weakness: none
EXP: 500
Gold: 220
Notes: Casts Lelan/Suzan/Kekan for ~500 damage, usually goes before you. Appears to be strong against all elements, with Lelan doing marginally more damage than Suzan and Kekan. Did I mention that you fight these guys solo? Try to avoid these guys when going for the Seventh Seal, but if you can't avoid them, always make sure to heal when your HP goes below 1000.

Gege & Goad
HP: ~25000
Weakness: Lelan
EXP: 6500
Gold: 1800
Notes: Always uses Suzun to attack the entire party for 400-500 damage; when HP is below 50%, he starts comboing Suzun with a lancer attack for an additional 500-700 damage to one person. One of the tougher boss fights IMO.

Balmod, Bejould, Boozoo, Belts
HP: 8000-10000 apiece
Weakness: Kekan (Balmod), Suzan (Boozoo), Lelan (Bejould, Belts)
EXP: 3200
Gold: 1800
Note: Each of them has an attack that hits one person for 300-500 damage. Also, they have their own individual weaknesses. They're not that tough overall, but if they all gang up on one person, you could have a little bit of trouble. Keep everyone's HP above 1500 or so just in case.

Big Machine x4
HP: 12500
Weakness: Kekan/Lelan
EXP: 8400
Gold: 3200
Note: All pillars are fairly weak against Kekan and Lelan, and slightly strong against Suzan. Each of the pillars have an attack that hits one person for 300-400 damage. As the pillars take damage, they become shorter. This is a good way to measure your progress in this battle.

Sky Spirit
HP: ~28000
Weakness: none
EXP: 8200
Gold: 2000
Note: Uses a breath attack to inflict 600-800 damage on one character

Water Eidolon
HP: 25000
Weakness: Kekan
EXP: 12000
Gold: 2500
Notes: Fires a giant green laser for 600-800 damage to all, uses a double punch attack for 1000-1200 damage to one character,

Water Spirit
HP: 30000
Weakness: Kekan
EXP: 14000
Gold: 2200
Notes: Uses a breath attack to hit random characters for 500-700 damage. Has an attack that takes away 99% of your entire party's current HP, bringing them down to low double digits. Have someone cast Bottle on your team at all times!

Cosmo Rainbow
HP: 2500-3000
Weakness: ?
EXP: 820
Gold: 0
Notes: Physically attacks for about 300 damage to one character, does some weird thing where it cuts one character for 150-200 damage, the background spins 90 degrees, and the characters' turns are skipped. Technically this, and the next three enemies, aren't bosses, but I'm placing them here because the mid-boss music plays when you fight them, and they're only available when traveling through space, which is only done once as a significant plot point.

Meteor
HP: ~3000
Weakness: ?
EXP: 850
Gold: 0
Notes: Breathes fire for 200-500 damage to all characters

Cosmo Bomber
HP: 1400-1500
Weakness: ?
EXP: 300
Gold: 0
Notes: Attacks one character for about 200 damage, splits into two when hit with a physical attack that doesn't kill it

Space Bomber
HP: 2000
Weakness: ?
EXP: 380
Gold: 0
Notes: Attacks random characters for 300-400 damage

Void Spirit
HP: ~40000
Weakness:
EXP: 15000
Gold: 3300
Notes: Does a breath attack to hit random characters for 500-800 damage, can reduce everyone's HP to low double digits. In other words, basically the same as the Water Spirit, only slightly more powerful. Have someone with a Mega Bottle cast Bottle on your team at all times!

Balmod (creepy naked pedophile-looking treeperson)
HP: 58000-60000
Weakness: Suzan
EXP: 15000
Gold: 2800
Notes: Gets two actions per turn, can attack one person by smacking them with his tail somewhat creepily for 400-600 damage, can double attack one person in the same manner for 900-1300 damage, can hurl spores at multiple characters for ~500 damage. Also possibly the creepiest-looking boss in this game.

Bejould (sexy, spiky-haired, green-caped demonic dominatrix)
HP: 55000-57000
Weakness: Kekan
EXP: 15000
Gold: 3100
Notes: Gets two actions per turn, can attack one person for 800+ damage, can attack entire party for 600-800 damage. Apparently Bejould is supposed to have insectoid properties, but she doesn't look or behave anything like an insect to me. She just looks like a sexy pale woman with crazy green hair to me. Probably the most normal-looking of the Four Angels)

Boozoo (Lennus' version of Majin Buu)
HP: 60000-62000
Weakness
EXP: 16500
Gold: 3300
Notes: Can do a sumo drop, either attacking one person for 2500-3000 damage or attacking your entire party for 1000-1500 damage, changes from fat to muscular at 50% HP or below, at which point he starts doing his best DIO impression and goes MUDA MUDA on your ass, hitting the entire party  10 times for 800-1000 damage (usually kills one or more characters unless Grava is up). Be sure to have someone use Grava every round, or you will regret it! Also, you have to fight this battle TWICE in quick succession, although thankfully, he's generous enough to fully heal you for the second round. Also, the music for this fight is slightly unsettling, although perfectly fitting for a fight against what is essentially a giant, super-powerful manbaby.

Belts
HP: 60000
Weakness: Suzan
EXP: 20000
Gold: 3800
Notes: Gets two actions per turn, casts Lelun for 800-1000+ damage to all, casts Lelan for 800+ damage to one, heals himself for 4000 HP. Be sure to have someone cast Spela every round, and heal whenever HP gets below 2000! Also, GameFAQs' guide for this game claims that Belts is weak to Kekan, but I can safely tell you this is bullshit. Suzan will do more than 4000 damage to him, whereas Kekan does about 1000..

Guardian (Mountain of Learning sub-boss)
HP: ~20000
Weakness: ?
EXP: 8000
Gold: ?
Notes: Looks pretty goofy, but don't underestimate it; it can be pretty tough. Gets two actions per turn, casts Lelun/Kekun/Suzun for 800-1000+ damage to all, casts a multi-hit drain spell that drains random characters for about 200-300 HP a hit. Have someone cast Spela every round, and always make sure to have Nikita or someone else with Bottle heal every round as well!

Combiner (technically not a boss; fought at the Mountain of Learning)
HP: ~12000
Weakness: changes on a whim
EXP: 5150
Gold: 103
Notes: Appears when five Spirits of any type show up on the battlefield at once, and boots all other enemies off the field as well. Gets two turns, casts Lelun/Kekun/Suzun for 800-1000+ damage to all, can change elemental strengths and weaknesses. Have someone cast Spela every round and have someone with Bottle heal every round as well. Also, Combiners can rarely drop the Gomutai Blade, the ultimate sword, which is only equippable by the main character and RichJr. It may be worth fighting a few of these if you don't feel like shelling out 200,000G for a Gomutai Blade in the final dungeon.

Granada (1)
HP: 60000-65000
Weakness: Suzan
EXP: 20000
Gold: 1000
Notes: Petro and Midia join you for this fight, and will attack Granada for 1000-2500 damage apiece or heal one of your characters if they get low on HP. Granada gets two actions a turn, and he uses them both to transform one of his weird energy ring thingies into spiked balls and throws them, hitting random characters 6 times for 300-500 damage apiece. Starts with three energy rings around him; these rings start breaking as you reduce his HP. Once you break the last ring, you've won. This is really more of a cutscene battle than an actual boss fight. Note that the Throne of Immortals music is still playing, uninterrupted, in the background, as with every other battle in this area. It's pretty epic.

Granada (2)
HP: 65000-70000
Weakness: Suzan
EXP: 35000
Gold: 5000
Notes: Casts some weird death spell that takes two turns to cast and does 2000-2800 damage to one character, gets two actions per turn when not using his death spell, attacks one character with a random-elemental laser for 600-1200 damage, reduces everyone's stats, extends his horrifyingly long chest-tongue out, wraps it around one character and eats them, causing them to be immobile and take 10% of any damage inflicted on Granada... He probably has other attacks as well, but I finished him too quickly to see any of them. Slightly more difficult than his first form, but still pretty easy.

Granada (FINAL BOSS)
Grand Eraser HP: ~45000 Weakness: Lelan
Raiga's Wrath HP: ~60000 Weakness: changes every turn
God Cannon HP: ~60000 Weakness: Suzan (very resistant to physical attacks)
Face HP: ~100000 Weakness: Kekan
Notes: Grand Eraser reduces one person's stats, but only seems to come into play whenever someone uses a buff, and is incapable of doing any physical damage and is therefore utterly unremarkable. God Cannon throws random debris at the party, randomly hitting four times for 500-1200 damage apiece, with the number of hits being reduced the more damage it takes, and has incredible physical defense... Attacks that do 5000+ damage to the other parts will do maybe 1000 to God Cannon. Raiga's Wrath shoots elemental attacks at one person for 800-1200 damage, and apparently changes elemental weaknesses every turn, and Granada's face launches a rocket at one character for 500-900 damage; when Grand Eraser is destroyed, he gets angry and starts firing nuclear warheads from his mouth every round, hitting randomly four times for 800+ damage. You only have to destroy the face in order to kill Granada, by the way, but it would probably be easier and safer to destroy his weapons first. This boss is pretty challenging at level 35-36, moderately difficult at level 38-41, and pathetically easy at level 42+.
